On the palate, the flavors are big, silky smooth raspberry and chocolate with ahint of cherry jam. The barrel tannins are evident, the acidity is perfect and the structure is all there: a very balanced wine. Enjoy this fine, age worthy wine with rich foods like duck breast or grilled lamb.
